Detailed Description

FB Matt 285 is a fibre based inkjet paper with a smooth matt surface and bright white base tint. Reminiscent of traditional darkroom paper, and the only matt variety in the range, it is a fantastic alternative for photographers and artists who prefer matt finishes.

 

Printing Instructions

  • Price: The cost is per meter. The roll width is 610mm.
  • Minimum Purchase: The smallest amount you can buy is 1 meter, which gives you a sheet of 1000mm x 610mm.
  • Buying More: If you buy more than 1 meter, the length increases by 1000mm for each additional meter. For example, buying 2 meters will give you a sheet 2000mm x 610mm.
  • Printing The paper will be printed as one continuous sheet, and you will need to cut it yourself.
  • Photos: You can include as many photos as you want, as long as they fit within the size you purchased. If your images exceed the purchased size, you will be charged extra.

File Preparation:

  • Canvas Size: Set your canvas width to 610mm and the length to match the total meters you purchased (multiples of 1000mm).
  • Image Placement: Place your images within the canvas.
  • File Format: Save your file as an Adobe PDF or TIFF.
  • Resolution: Ensure the file has a resolution of at least 300 dpi.

File Submission:

  • After purchasing, send your file to arts@beds.ac.uk along with your purchase confirmation, or bring your file to the technical office.

Important Notes:

  • We reserve the right not to print files that are not properly resized or are in the wrong resolution.
  • We are not responsible for poor-quality prints if your files were not prepared correctly. It is your responsibility to make sure your file is correct before submitting it.
