A Standard One Day Conference


This is a one-day conference template you can copy.

Follow the following steps:

  1. Before you do anything - Find out your finance codes/ project codes - otherwise the income won't go to you.  If you keep the default codes, the income will go to the University's central coffers.
  2. Before you create your event - Set up your ticket types and prices using attendee categories.  You should avoid zero price tickets for anyone except currently enrolled fee-paying students.  A zero-income event does not count toward your academic record.
  3. Now you can set up your event - you cannot add an image until you have saved the event once.
  4. Set the capacity to the max number of people you want in the room
  5. Set a booking prefix that helps identify YOU.  RIS-GB- would help identify Research and Innovation Service, Gordon Brady.
